In a location that could hardly be any better we offer a charming traditionall estonian small-town house with preserved original details. The is just a 3-minute walk from the Kuressaare episcopal castle, with equally short distances to the beach and to the center of town with its fine restaurants and everything else you may need in form of services and goods. The distance to the beach and to the center of town is some 400 meters. The beach is situated right behind the well-preserved medieval castle. The house is very cosy with all modern comforts and furniture made by the carpenter who owns the house.
This house was built in 1880 by a german doctor and was severely neglected in soviet times but is now restored to a splendid condition. Both floors are at your disposal, with living-room, bathroom, kitchen and one bedroom on the ground floor and a large bedroom on the second. In the living room you find a fireplace, on the second a computer with internet access and three single beds. In the kitchen you find both a firewood stove and a new electrical cooker, both with fans. Behind the house there is a small garden where have your meals undisturbed. The garden is delimited by planking and by an outhouse. The street is which the house is located is an insignificant by-street with very little trafic.
Kuressaare is the ”capital” of Saaremaa, with a wide choice of restaurants, pubs and shops. The episcopal castle is a real attraction and is considered to be the best preserved medieval castel in the Baltics. The castle is surrounded by a beautiful park and behind the castle, right by the Baltic sea is a much appreciated beach. In Kuressaare you also find value-for-money beauty parlors, spa treatments and a little indoor water park. Saaremaa is full of attractions, beautiful unspoilt nature and activities. It is no coincidence that Saaremaa is Estonia’s most sought-after tourism destination (after Tallinn).
