Large and comfortable Villa Kukkapää is suitable even for bigger families, small groups or even for two families. Also Savonlinna Opera guests have traditionally stayed at Villa Kukkapää. This historic villa has been renovated and equipped to meet today's needs. Villa is located in a scenic ridge area. Vilkaharju is scenically, geologically and because of its forest ecosystems significant ridge area bordered by Saimaa lakes. It has been a protected nature reserve since 1978. In Vilkaharju it is an easy to hike and ski (when there is snow in the winter). The main building does not have a sauna, but there is a separate lakeside sauna. There is a pier from sauna's terrace. Villa has appr. 200 meters wide swimming beach. 20 000 m² plot with grass field for playing badminton and volleyball. Note! Road No. 438 passes right next to the villa 15 m away, there is a wooden fence in between. 3 parking spaces, canoe, fishing possibilities (pike, perch, pike-perch, trout, grayling, salmon). Sulkava 7 km, Ruunarinne slope-skiing place 35 km, Olavinlinna 35 km (opera festival in July), Kerigolf 50 km, Puumala 50 km, Mikkeli 90 km.

  Mökissä oli mahtavat varustelut ja nukkumatilat. Olimme 12 hengen porukalla viettämässä joulua. Hienot ja erittäin riittoisat astiastot ja hyvä sauna. Pihassa koko tontin kiertävä hyvä aita, ei tarvinnut pelätä että.koira tai lapset karkaa tielle.

  Hyvin varusteltu huvila, keittiöstä löytyi astiat suuremmankin porukan kestitsemiseen. Huvilasta löytyi myös mainiot puitteet ja tarvikkeet pienten lasten kanssa lomailuun. Harrastusmahdollisuuksia ja välineitä on niin paljon tarjolla ettei kaikkea viikossa ehtinyt edes testata.
