2-storied cabin built in 2000 and located on shore of Ranuanjärvi lake. Lake shore is shallow and sandy. Pier, rowing boat and canoe. Downstairs kitchen/livingroom, bedroom with double bed, upstairs with TV-room and four alcoves, 2 beds in one of them, 2 mattresses in three of them. Steep stais to upstairs. Sauna and washroom in the same building. Eco-toilet in the cottage, outdoor privy on the yard. Cottage is specially decorated: most of the furniture is from Africa. Blackout curtains on the windows. During summer there is a charcoal grill; please bring your own charcoal and fluid. Wi-fi.

Distances: Ranua Zoo 9 km. Sale, restaurant, post 7 km, Syöte ski resort, Syöte national park 65 km. Snowmobile route is near the cabin (ab. 100 m), good ski tracks. Possibility for horseback riding: 14 km. Ranua offers great opportunities for picking berries and mushrooms, and for fishing and hunting. Hillamarkkinat -market yearly in Ranua at the beginning of August. Cabin can be reached by car all year round.

Mökki oli kodikas, pääosin puhdas. Säilytystilaa oli niukasti. Lähellä oleva kuntopolku oli kiva. Sauna lämpeni nopeasti ja löylyt olivat kipakat.

Lovely cottage, we stayed here for a week and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The area is incredible to walk through (especially for sunsets) and the cottage is equipped with everything you could need. The outside temperature reached -35°C but the fireplace kept us more than warm. We will definitely be back!
