60 km northeast of Utsjoki, 12 km south of Nuorgam, located on the northwestern part of Kaldoaivi wilderness area, by shore of a pond (length of 80 m) and a brook (Viercajohka). No road to destination, the last stage of the journey by walking, ATV or skiing, distance about 4 km! The cabin renter can apply for a snowmobiling permit from Metsähallitus, which entitles him to move within five kilometers on the area of ice fishing lakes. If necessary, owner can arrange transport and guidance to the cabin at extra fee. Maximum booking period for this cottage is 2 weeks. Livingroom/ kitchenette with sofa bed (2 persons), two alcoves, both with double bed and sloping ceilings, entrances to alcoves are lower than normal (ab.170 cm), cold entrance hall, terrace. Separate sauna building with steam room and dressing room. A water heater tank in steam room. Sauna water must be carried from brook or pond, distance 20 m. An electric generator for 230V electric current, socket, also 12V electric current, charging possibility (usb cable). Heating system with diesel oil heater Wallox, also a wooden stove. Led lamps as extra lights. Sink has a sewer. Household water must be carried from brook, 20 m away, water is recommended to boil before use. A small cellar for cold storage of food. Hillagammi is an unique cabin with a very quiet location in the wilderness area. Cabin has large windows, ideally suited eg by watching the northern lights from indoors. Salmon fishing trips (River Tenojoki) from the owner for extra price. Transport services by snowmobile, ATV and jeep, guidance to fishing sites and willow grouse hunting areas, husky- and reindeer safaris available from the owner. Also mountain bike, snow mobile and snow shoe rentals from the cottage owner. Fishing: angling and ice fishing are allowed without permission, excluding in the running waters. The fisherman must check the fishing restrictions at kalastusrajoitus.fi. For other fishing: a fisheries management fee (persons 18 to 64 years) is required, online store www.eraluvat.fi. Utsjoki wilderness area permit 1574 (www.eraluvat.fi). Hunting: Small game hunting (willow grouse, waterfowl and hare), see 1604 Nuorgam (www.eraluvat.fi). Also permits for cottage owner's small game hunting areas (20 hectares) available.

  Aivan käsittämättömän upea paikka! Erämökiksi varsin hyvin varusteltu, mitään emme jääneet kaipaamaan. Saunassa hyvät löylyt ja lämpesi nopeasti hyvillä klapeilla. Siisti uusi puucee.
