It is a single log cabin by the pond, built in 1983. The cabin features a combined living room and dining area, a kitchen, a sleeping alcove with a 120 cm wide bed, and a low loft with three single mattresses. There is also a sleeping space for one person in the kitchen. The sauna (with a wood stove), shower, and toilet are in the bathroom. The bathroom was completely renovated in 2024. There is a lockable outdoor storage and glazed balcony.

Kanttuvei-log cabin is cozy and atmospheric, located in a naturally beautiful spot by the lake. The windows opens views directly onto the slopes of Suomutunturi. The own peaceful yard is surrounded by a pine forest and is just a few minutes' drive to the Suomutunturi hotel. The location is excellent, providing privacy while being in close proximity to all the services of Suomutunturi.
The wood-heated sauna offers delightful steam, and you can swim in the pond for as long as it remains open, or even create your own skating rink in the winter. This cabin is a perfect choice for you if you seek tranquility!
There are five ski resorts within a 100 km radius. Two national parks are just an hour's drive away: Pyhä-Luosto (80 km) and Salla (60 km).
