Kemijärvi has good fishing and swimming opportunities, distance 5 km. The nearest shop and gas station is in Joutsijärvi village, a distance 15 km. Joutsijärvi also has the closest attraction - the Salpalinja bunker. Suomutunturi has 70 km of ski trail, 17 km illuminated. Distance to the ski trail is 300 m. Five skiing centers within a radius of less than 100 km. Two national parks is an hours drive distance: Pyhä-Luosto (80 km) and Salla (60 km).
