Kemijärvi has good fishing and swimming opportunities, distance 5 km. The nearest shop is in Joutsijärvi, distance 17 km. Joutsijärvi also has the closest attraction - the Salpalinja bunker. Suomutunturi has 70 km of slopes, 17 km of which are lighted with a distance of 250 m. The distance from the cottage to the slopes and Hotel Suomutuntuuri is 700 m.
