Accommodation information
Loft styled log cabin built in 1948 is located on a beautiful spot by the pond Kaakkolampi in Isoneva-Raitakulonneva swamp reservation area. It was formerly used as accommodation for the drainage designers. This cosy cabin has a small bedroom with three bunk beds (lenght 190 cm), kitchen and a fireplace. Wood heating, wood stove in kitchen, gas stove (no oven), water well, earth pit. On the yard there is also lakeside sauna, place for an open fire, smoking box, a pier, rowing boat (no need for outboard motor because the pond is small). The Kaakkolampi cabin is suitable for outdoor-minded groups and people who are interested in nature. Possibility for swimming in pond Kaakkolampi (pond is low and not very good for swimming, better if You use the pier).

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Recreational fishing on Teerilampi recreational fishing area. A special fishing license is required and it can be bought from Seitseminen Visitor Centre. Good berry – and mushroom picking terrain. Cabin can be reached by car during summer and winter.

Ruuhkavuosien keskellä täydellistä arjen vastapainoa. Puitteet rauhalliseen lomaan oman perheen kesken ilman mitään ulkoisia ärsykkeitä täydelliset. Kuitenkin helppoa erälomailua lastenkin kanssa kun pääsee autolla mökin viereen.
