Peaceful location in the edge of a field. A steep slope from cottage to beach, part of the beach is sandy.
Note! The Hietamankoski power plant is located in Suojoki above the Leppäranta cottage. If the water level rises above the regulation limit above the plant, the power plant will start releasing water. This causes the river to flow faster and the water level to rise. As a result, the water level and flow rate also fluctuate a lot in the lower reaches of the river near the cottage. The fluctuation in water level can often cause a deviation of one or more meters in the shoreline on a gentle shore.

The owner offers bicycles and a beach sauna on the island (distance 300 m) for rent - these are rented to several cottages, so it is worth checking availability in advance.
