Booking Fee 22 €A neat cottage for a couple or family located at the western end of Hailuoto island, in the Marjaniemi/Rantasumppu cottage village. The bright cottage is located next to the dunes. There are no other cottages between the sea and Rantasumppu 16.
60 km west of Oulu, Bothnian Bay 100 m, shallow and sandy public beach, no boat. Wooden cabin is renovated and extended 2016 (built in 1985), living room/kitchen, bedroom: 2 beds, alcove with bunk bed (width of lower bed 120 cm and upper bed 80 cm), Toilet with entrance to the washroom, electric sauna. Sheltered sun deck facing to the sea and to the south.
The Marjaniemi/Rantasumpu cottage village area is being developed and 10 semi-detached apartments are planned for the neighborhood during 2026-2027. The foundations for five houses have already been poured, but actual construction is estimated to begin in spring 2027 at the earliest. The distance to the nearest apartment under construction is 20 meters and in summer there are birches and willows in between.
The plot has parking space and heating plug for one car, other cars (and trailers) must be parked in the general P-region. Tents and caravans are not permitted at the plot. In winter time car parking might not be possible next to the cottage, then it has to be left on the general P-region (about 30 m).
Mechanical ventilation system.Cabin is equipped with air source heat pump, which can also be used as cooling in summer. Blackout curtains. Ball bbq grill (client brings barbecue coals).
An own bed linen and towels must be brought along. Client has to do proper final cleaning before departure, final cleaning can not be booked so far.
Hailuoto is located in the Bothnian Bay, near the city of Oulu, access to Hailuoto is via a causeway and bridges.
During summer you can also arrive by your own boat. There is a guest harbor in Marjaniemi and it's maintained by the municipality of Hailuoto. Near guest harbor there are also summer cafes, restaurants and Hotel Luovo and it's services.
Natural conditions (e.g. water levels) may vary and affect, for example, the accuracy of the shoreline description. Lomarengas is not responsible for such changes or their impact on the use of the property. Further information in the booking terms.
