Holiday home details

This property is well-suited for a holiday shared by two families or even larger groups. It is rented to families, couples, and others seeking a peaceful vacation. The property is not rented to groups composed of individuals under 30 years of age. Please respect the neighbors' peace. Parties are not allowed at the property.

Note: A 250-euro deposit is required for New Year’s and Midsummer, payable in cash upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded on the departure day if everything is in proper condition.

Located 45 km east of Lahti, Kirkkojärvi is 30 meters away (length 4 km, width 3.5 km), with a firm, gently sloping sandy bottom. There is also a rocky shore by the pier and a rowing boat available.

The log cabin was built in 2003 and expanded in 2020. The old section includes a living room, kitchen, a bedroom (12 m²) with a double bed, a sleeping alcove with a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, and a loft (20 m²) with four beds. There is a glazed terrace.

The extension includes a dining area and kitchen, a bedroom (15 m²) with a double bed and a junior bed, a bedroom (15 m²) with two beds, a bedroom (12 m²) with two beds, and a bedroom/office (12 m²) with a sofa bed for two. The indoor sauna has an electric stove, a shower, a separate toilet, and a large terrace area.

The lakeside sauna features a wood-heated stove, a fireplace room with two optional sleeping places on a sofa bed, a TV, a refrigerator, and a stove.

You can inquire with the caretaker about renting a Buster motorboat with 50 hp for 100 euros per day, with additional days at 50 euros. The package includes 10 liters of fuel, a wetsuit, a wakeboard, water skis, and a towable tube. An electric outboard motor for the rowing boat is also available for rent.

The caretaker can also provide heating services for the hot tub and lakeside sauna at a pre-arranged time for 150 euros. Payment can be made via a separate invoice or in cash to the caretaker on-site.

Newly added is a game room with a coin-operated slot machine, darts, pinball, table football, and air hockey for rainy days.

The rental fee for the smoke sauna is 250 euros per heating session. It includes heating the lakeside sauna and hot tub if needed. The smoke sauna is not heated during the winter season. The smoke sauna must be ordered and paid for through the caretaker and cannot be heated independently. Winter swimming is available.

There are restrictions on the availability of additional services during the freezing season. The well water may occasionally have discoloration; bringing your own drinking water is recommended.
