Pikku-Kalela is a sturdy, hand-carved log villa located in the picturesque Pakuri area of Ikaalinen, right on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi. The villa is situated on the grounds of a working horse farm, on a sunny south-facing peninsula, with approximately 400 meters of private shoreline. In addition to a relaxing holiday, the villa offers artistic experiences with its paintings and sculptures. A unique feature of the cabin is its private horse paddock, allowing guests to bring their own horse on holiday – however, this must be arranged in advance with the owner. The villa features a loft with 4 sleeping places (1 double bed and 2 separate beds) and a 120 cm sofa bed in the downstairs living area, suitable for one person. Additionally, there is an Olokoto wagon in the yard, equipped with a wide mattress for two. The Olokoto serves as an alternative sleeping option, but the maximum number of guests is 5. The pier-side shoreline has some rocks at the beginning, but the end of the pier has a sandy bottom (depth approx. 120 cm). The other shoreline features a shallow sandy beach, and there is also a long public sandy beach nearby. The villa has an outdoor toilet in the yard. The villa has cold tap water supplied to the kitchen and sauna, with water heated in a traditional cauldron. The cabin is equipped with an air-source heat pump. A rowing boat and canoe are available for guests to use freely. Please bring your own bed linens and towels, and ensure that you clean the cabin before departure.
