Wilderness cabin on the island in the fishy river delta of Ivalojoki near the Joensuunselkä open water. Naturally rich conservation area (Natura 2000). An excellent base for those, who are traveling on their own boat. 15 km to the north from Ivalo, in Ahosaari island, about 2.5 km boat trip from Veskoniemi fishing port and about 4 km trip from Koppelo boat beach. In summer, access only by the customer's own boat from the above-mentioned starting points. In winter, access by skiing or snowmobile. 25 m to the beach, quite deep beach, pier. Cabin 1994, built of planed logs. The living room has bunk bed and low loft with 2 mattresses, steep stairs to the loft. Spacious living area with 2 single beds in connection with sauna. Sauna room and open terrace. Outdoor storage. There is a wood-burning sauna stove and cauldron for heating up water in the sauna. Water to the sauna must be brought by using a bucket from the lake (25 m). Please bring drinking water with you. Campfire site by the lake.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Wilderness cabins are suitable for fishing, trekking and hunting trips. Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. The cabin is not preheated before the reservation begins. The cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that (cleaning instructions are mentioned in the booking terms and conditions). Due to the long distances, the service will not inspect the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Water is not examined yearly, so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. There is no sink in the cabin’s kitchen. Freezer (so called LPG-operated Yankee-style fridge) in connection with the refrigerator. Two gas stoves. Guest can also use an electric generator (aggregate), which makes it possible to use the electricity in the living room. Generator runs on 95E petrol (4-stroke, customer bring fuel). Fireplaces in the living room and living area near the sauna room both, both can be heated by using kerosene (kerosene burners and fuel can be found in the cabin). There is no boat at this cabin either an outboard motor for client's boat. Loma-Koppelo is ideal for fishermen and nature lovers. There are a couple of other cabins on the same island, otherwise a very quiet and scenic place. Lake Inari is a good destination for trolling and fishermen who want to catch grayling by casting.
