Complex of two wilderness cabins on the lake Inari, in the middle of Ukonsaari sceneries. Suitable for fishermen, for example, you can arrive to the cabin even with a bigger boat. Boat or snow mobile trip 11 km. Off-season from the beginning of May to mid-June and from the beginning of November to the end of December. During these periods, the destination cannot be reached. Two wilderness cabins, separate log-built sauna, cooking hut and fireplace. Located in Leutaniemi in Inari. Lake Inari, 11 km to the northeast from Inari municipality center, only accessible by the customer's own boat or snowmobile. Owner can arrange transportation services if needed, an extra fee will be applied. The distance from the cabin to the beach is 40 m. There is a pier on the shore, the pier is accessible by a larger boat (water depth is about 2 m). Swimming possibility, the beach is deep, sandy and bottom is pebbly. A rowing boat + outboard motor 4 hp (2-stroke, the customer brings the fuel). Aggregate 2kw (4-stroke, the customer brings the fuel) and a solar power system for e.g. charging a mobile phone. Cabin 1: 45 m², living room, 2 spreadable beds in bedroom, lobby and small covered porch. The cabin has 2 fireplaces, refrigerator (works with aggregate) and gas stove (2-burner). In addition, under-floor cellar. Cabin 2: 25 m², living room with 2 bunk beds. In the living room there is a fireplace, gas-operated refrigerator and gas stove (1-burner). Pizza oven and Muurikka-brand set. Basic cutlery and toilet paper are included.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Wilderness cabins are suitable for fishing, trekking and hunting trips. Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. The cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. The cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that (please, check the cleaning instructions in the booking terms). Due to long distances, maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Water is not examined yearly, so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Generator available if required (4-stroke, customer bring fuel). Motor-operated ice drill, normal ice drill and ice saw available. Transports from the owner by boat or snowmobile and sleigh, price from 200 € / way. More information from the owner. Very peaceful place, no visual contact to the neighbors. Island Ukonsaari (Ukonkivi) can be seen from the cabin. Island Ukonsaari is a sacred place of sacrifice for the Sámi people), distance of about 3 km. Getting on the island is not desirable! Lake Inari is a good destination for trolling and fishermen who want to catch grayling by casting. For the fly fisherman, whitefish is a common catch. Also, pike and perch well available. The old wooden church of Pielpajärvi, distance is about 9 km (by boat to fjord Pielpavuono and there is 2 km path to the destination).
