The lake Alajärvi offers good possibilities for fishing. The lake has good fish stock including e.g. trout, grayling, and whitefish. SUP boards, fat bikes, boats and other equipment available for rent from the owner. The owner also organizes excursions according to your wishes. Ivalo airport 2.5 km, services of Ivalo 6-7 km.   We had a great holiday in Ivalo, the cottage was big enough for 10 people, well equipped and situated in a lovely area, close to everything but in calm. We could also see the aurore borealis from the cottage!
