Additional information

Electrified cabin near reindeer farm (100 m) by the beautiful and peaceful Lake Solojärvi. In winter time there are reindeer in the corral.
Please note that you can only feed the reindeer by arrangement with the cottage owner.

Boat trips in summer time, in winter time snowmobile trips to the fell and icefishing trips available from the owner. Reindeer meat for sale.

The area offers good opportunities for independent hiking, mountain biking, fishing, boating, skiing and snowmobiling. The Inari hiking area with its trails and services extends to Lake Solojärvi. An electric motor can be rented for the rowing boat. The owner makes a ski track on request, length about 3-4 km. The nearest fell is Otsamo, distance about 7 km.

Pets are not allowed for new bookings starting March 21, 2026. However, the property is not suitable for allergy sufferers, as there have been pets at the property.

Fishing: Highly considered fly-fishing area River Juutuanjoki starts from Lake Solojärvi (Metsähallitus license area No 1578). Inari Hiking area's fishing grounds are also near (Metsähallitus license area No 1579), Inari wilderness (license area 1564) and Lake Inarijärvi 13 km (license area 1580).

Hunting: Hammastunturi (license area 1610); willow grouse, waterfowl, hare and small game.

Inari centre services 13 km, The Sámi Museum Siida 13 km, Sámi Cultural Centre Sajos 13 km, Lemmenjoki National Park (access also by waterway).
