Near the famous gold panning river Ivalojoki and on the edge of Hammastunturi wilderness area, is located this well-equipped holiday cabin. Main building: downstairs there is a combined living room/kitchen with electric oven and gas cooker, electric refrigerator, dish washer, microwave oven, toaster, coffee maker. Fire place. Indoor toilet. A separate bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs: Bedroom with two single beds and a convertible sofa, and common room with two convertible sofas. Garage building: wood-heated sauna, spacious bathroom, toilet, laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Garage is not in use. Dogs must be kept on a leash when outside and please make sure that they don't disturb reindeer which herd there in the village through the whole year. There is no lake or river by the cabin but on the North side of the cabin there is a small stream with a dam where you can dip ( isn´t suitable for small children). The bottom of the pond has sharp rocks. Distance from the sauna to the stream is 80 m. Wifi-connection. There is a television set in the cottage for watching dvd-films, however tv-channels can not be seen. There's also smart-tv available but the client must have their own ID's to the applications. Also there might be problems with mobile phone connections, depending on the operator.

The cabin is suitable for special occasions and family gatherings as well as hunters and those interested in the wilderness area. The area has beautiful river valley sceneries and an interesting gold digging history. Part of this history, 18 km downstream the river, is located an age-defying place called Kultala Crown Station, built already in 1870. The river itself is excellent for trout and grayling fishing. In Hammastunturi wilderness area you can experience the true wilderness and rarely will anyone cross paths with you. Boat landing place at river Ivalojoki 1,5 km. Site for a camp fire on the yard for summer use. You can use it also during winter, if you remove snow by yourself. Saariselkä 50 km (skiing centre, spa, shops, restaurants) 50 km, kiosk Kultakioski 24 km (open during summer season), Ivalo center 78 km, Ivalo airport 75 km, Rovaniemi railway station 290 km, Rovaniemi airport 290 km. The cabin can be reached by car. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented) and clean the cottage before leaving. You can also buy the cleaning service as an additional service.

  Toistamiseen oltiin Kutturan mökillä ja onnistunut loma takana. Ison perheen tarpeisiin sopiva 'mökki' varusteluineen, iso piha lapsille lumileikkeihin ja mäenlaskuun. Saunassa ihanat löylyt ja erämaan rauha vielä kaupanpäälisiksi!

  Mökki on upealla, rauhallisella ja luonnonkauniilla paikalla, ja todella hyvin varusteltu pidempäänkin lomailuun. Koira viihtyi erityisesti aidatulla pihalla ja me puulämmitteisen saunan lämmössä. Luontoon pääsee suoraan mökin pihasta, ja keittiössä kokkailee suuremmallekin seurueelle. Kokonaisuudessaan mahtava paikka, toivottavasti pääsemme joskus uudelleen!
