325 km to the north from Rovaniemi, 11 km to the southwest from Inari, lake Solojärvi 15 m (length 5 km, width 1 km), deep beach, hard small stone bottom, own rowing boat. Kelo log cabin (kelo-log facing removed from the inner walls), built in 1977. 2 sofa beds in living area, bunk bed and 1 separate bed in alcove (bunk bed length only 170 cm, separate bed length 190 cm), kitchenette, sauna, dressing room and covered porch. Entrance to the sauna and washroom from the porch. There in no water pipe in the cabin. Kitchen is equipped with draining board and sink. Water to the sauna must be brought by using bucket from the lake (15 m). Water can be heated in the tank connected to the wood-burning sauna stove. Please bring drinking water with you. Outdoor toilet.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Wilderness cabins are suitable for fishing, trekking and hunting trips. The cabin is not preheated before the customer arrives. The cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances, the maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. The guest must bring their own bed linen and towels (not available for rent). Solomaja is an electrified cabin located in an area with good opportunities for independent hiking and fishing. The Inari hiking area (hiking routes and services) reaches to Solojärvi. The nearest fell is Otsamo, located on the other side of Solojärvi, distance is about 3 km (by boat and hiking). Fishing: Famous fly-fishing area of river Juutuanjoki starts from lake Solojärvi, the nearest rapid is Jurmukoski near the starting point of the river Juutuanjoki, see destination 1578 (www.eraluvat.fi), fishing waters of Inari hiking area are close too, destination 1579 (www.eraluvat.fi), Inari wilderness, destination 1564 (www.eraluvat.fi), lake Inarijärvi 13 km, destination 1580 (www.eraluvat.fi). Aivan huippumökki! Todella toimiva, siisti ja viihtyisä kokonaisuus kauniilla paikalla. Saunassa oli pehmeät löylyt ja takka toi tunnelmaa.

Tilava, siisti ja hyvin varusteltu eräkämppä kalaisan Solojärven rannalla. Rauhallinen paikka. Vähäiset liikenteen äänet kuuluvat pihalle. Saunassa sai hyvät, lempeät löylyt. Kalanperkuupiste pihapiirissä olisi plussaa.
