Wilderness cabin, tucked away in forest on shore of lake Ukonjärvi, between the villages of Inari and Ivalo. Shore is rocky and swimming is possible from the pier. Living room 2 sofas, kitchenette, two bedrooms, one with bunk bed and one with bunk bed and single bed. Fireplace and wood-burning stove in main room and wood-burning stoves also in both bedrooms. Solar panel lights 1.3. - 30.10. Household water from lake. Separate sauna building with two-person bed, no electricity, fireplace heating, candle lighting. Outdoor fire place, smoke oven, rowing boat. Cabin and sauna was renovated in 2002. Cabin time goes fishing in lakes Ukonjärvi or Inarijärvi. Easy to make excursions to the nearby Juutua hiking area. Lake Myössäjärvi fishing spots and hiking trails are only short drive away.

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin is not preheated before customer’s arrival. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented). This cabin requires outdoor attitude and skills (how to make fire, for example). If you’re not sure, please consider another option. Water is not examined yearly so boiling the drinking water before use is recommended. Nearest village, Ivalo 16 km, where e.g. food shops, health center, pharmacy, banks, and restaurants. Inari 24 km, where food shops, Siida -museum, souvenir shops and restaurants. The bus will stop at the hut (to the hut distance of about 160 m). Cabin is located close to highway, the noise of traffic can be heard, even cabin is located in the midst of forest. Yard is rocky and there are duckboard pathts to help walking. Cabin can not be reached by car: parking lot next to main road, 160 m way to cabin (duckboards). Flight services also available. Read more www.lentopalvelut.fi.   Beautiful cottage!!! It is like living in a fairytale for a few days. We definitely come back here! The sauna is amazing as well as the cottage. There is everything you need and the cars from the road is not possible to hear them, so is perfect!!!
