Wooden house, built in 1959, renovated in 2018. Living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with 2 beds. Electric sauna, glazed terrace and extension terrace without glazing. Summer house by the water.

Possibility to rent a motorboat from the owner (Pioner 14 Active with steering wheel + 20 hp outboard motor). Please contact the owner about the booking. In front of the cabin on the lake, there is 3 - 6 km long ski trail, maintained by the city of Joensuu. Open depending on weather conditions and snow/ice situation. 3.8 km distance to Niittylahti school campus, from there access to the ski trails maintained by city of Joensuu. Public beach (located next to the Niittylahti school campus) 3.8 km. Hopealahti nature trail (suitable for children) 850 m. Grocery store, pharmacy and pizza restaurant in Reijola 8 km. Mustavaara ski slopes 33 km, Koli 80 km. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations).

Mökki sijaitsee hienolla paikalla, muutama metri järvestä. Saimme ihailla ikkunasta syysmyrskyä. Lieneekö myrskytuulesta johtunut, että saunassa kävi veto jalkoihin, eikä oikein lämpöä riittänyt. Mitään ohjetta ei saunan käyttöön löytynyt. Myös ikkunan raosta kävi kova ujellus. Muuten mökki on mitä mainioin pikku porukalle. Viihdyimme oikein hyvin.

We (older couple from Germany) were 2 weeks (23.07-06.08.23) in Niittylahti. It was beautiful. The interior of the house was in many things new and cozy. We felt very comfortable. We made trips to Joensuu, to Outokumpu mining museum, Koli mountains, and New Valamo and Lintula. We will try to come again.
