Charming complex consisting of two cabins complemented by a lakeside sauna, in a peaceful location in the Paalasmaa archipelago. Both cabins are 43 m² each, totaling 86 m². Paalasmaa is a beautiful, rugged area, Finland's highest island, with a ferry connection all year round. Adjacent to the cabins is a unique feature, a rocky field known as 'Pirunpelto'. There are no neighbors nearby. The cabins are powered by ecological solar energy. Watch the video by clicking "click here for extra material". 106 km north of Joensuu, Lake Pielinen 25 m (871.2 km²), shallow, gently sloping sand bottom, a private beach, and a boat. The newer main cabin (43 m²) for 3 people was built in 2023. It features a living room/kitchen with a sofa bed for 1 person and a curtained-off alcove with a double bed. The kitchen includes a stove-oven, gas cooker, and gas refrigerator. There is a sewage system and a sink but no running water. The second cabin is a round log cabin (43 m²) for 3 people, built in 2005. It features a living room/ kitchen with a double bed and a single bed. The cabin has a fireplace-oven, a 2-burner gas stove, and a gas refrigerator. There is a sewage system and a sink but no running water. This cabin also includes a wood-burning sauna, dressing room, and terrace. Access to the sauna is through the terrace. Additionally, there is a wooden beach sauna (16 m²), completed in 2023, featuring a dressing room and a spacious terrace. The sauna boasts large panoramic windows overlooking the lake. It is approximately 10 m from the shore. Water for both saunas is carried from the lake and heated by the sauna stove. Initially, the owner provides drinking water, which can be replenished from a tap on the exterior wall of the owner's house, 1.4 km away. During the cold season, the owner heats the cabins before guests' arrival, but guests are responsible for heating during their stay. In addition to the fireplace-ovens, there is a gas heater available. During the cold season, the main cabin is primarily used, with the second cabin available upon request. Both saunas are accessible during this time.

Guests can inquire with the Paalasmaa hunting club about the possibility of joining a moose hunting group. The owner offers the possibility to rent two snowmobiles. Good berry-picking grounds are nearby, surrounded by forested terrain. The Paalasmaa observation tower is accessible by road at a distance of 4.5 km, and by hiking ? km. Juuka 22 km, Koli 55 km, Nurmes 56 km, Bomba 61 km. Reservations start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure.
