Holiday home details

Matinniemi is a peaceful holiday destination with no neighbours within sight. The property is also well suited for those holidaying with pets, as the entire plot is fenced.

Located 50 km north of Mikkeli, Lake Kyyvesi is 25 m away, with a firm, shallow gravel/sandy bottom that extends far out, making it suitable for even small children.

The paneled cabin was built in 1973 and fully renovated and expanded in 2025.
In the living room, there is a sofa bed for two, and a small kitchen that leads to a sleeping alcove with a double bed.
There is a large covered terrace with access to a dressing room, from which you can enter the bathroom and sauna. The sauna has a wood-burning stove, and the washing water is heated in the stove's tank.

There is a separate sleeping cabin with two beds.

At the lakeshore, there is a grill shelter/sauna, providing a pleasant space to spend time. The shelter is surrounded by a terrace, which also has a hot tub available for use.
Outdoor cooking is possible with the grill shelter's outdoor kitchen, the terrace's gas grill, or the campfire site.

The cabin has water carried from the lake, and the caretaker provides an initial supply of 10 liters of drinking water.
