Log cottage 1967, living room/kitchen double bed, alcove double bed, sauna, dressing room, open porch.
Quiet family holiday location.
Drinking / domestic water is available in the canisters when the booking starts. If necessary, the customer can pick up more water from the municipality's water intakes (see information in the cottage folder). The sauna water is fetched from the well (the well water is not potable). The owner brings drinking water to the cottage.
Available for booking annually from 1 May to 30 September.
Natural, level forested plot, shoreline 70 m, swimming shore is shallow for a long way out, no jetty. Plot has old tennis court now used for ball games, children's playhouse, woodshed and garden furniture. Guests can use fibreglass rowing boat.
Two island on the opposite side of the cabin; Kirkkosaari-island (old graves and lovely rock formations) and Lehtosaari-island (learn-to and campfire site).
Attractions and activities: Jogging track and 5 km long nature trail 1.5 km, disc golf (frisbee golf) court with 18 holes 1.5 km, free artificial grass based tennis court 2 km, kayak rental (Karstula Evangelical Institute) 3km, cinema 4 km, public outdoor swimming pool with showers 4.5 km. Wanhat Wehkeet Automobile Museum 5 km, Kirkkovuori view tower 6 km, Heijostenkoski-rapid (fishing and whitewater rafting) 20 km, Veijari park and Stone Age Village 25 km, Pyhä-Häkki National Park 43 km, Salamajärvi National Park 60 km, Ähtäri Zoo, Flowpark adventure amusement park and golf (18 courses) 65 km.
