10 km east of Kemijärvi, lake Kotajärvi 45 m (length 4.3 km, width 600 m), shallow water, sandy bottom, water level varies due to regulation, pier, own boat. Log cottage, built in 1983, expanded and renovated in 2002. Living room with convertible sofa bed, kitchen, bedroom with narrow double bed (width 140 cm), shower room and toilet, hall, open porch. Lakeside sauna building: steam room, dressing room with iron stove, porch. Sauna has electric light, wood-burning stove and water heater tank. Water must be caarried from the lake or cottage (40 m away). Dogyard wih doghouse in the yard.

Smoke oven available. Cottage and saunabuilding are located at the foot of hill Kotavaara. Extensive lake landscape opens in front of the cottage. Kind of observation tower in Kotavaara hilltop 500m away. Kemijärvi town services easy to reach, Suomutunturi ski resort 35 km, Pyhätunturi tourist resort 60 km.

  Highly recommend ! There is a gem the middle of wilderness. Clean, warm and cozy cottage. The owners are fantastic people. Just expecting your every demand (there wasn't so much from us). Absolutely great benefit to have underfloor heating in all cottage rooms.Was quite cold outside -23 to -30 C at our stay, but inside cottage we've got 25 C at least.

  I had a fantastic week at my beautiful mökki! Everything was spotlessly clean, very well kept, and super comfortable! I can only recommend a stay here! Lovely helpful owners. The sauna is great, and just a leap away from the lake :)
