Additional information

Kuukkeli is a cabin by the pond in the Suomutunturi ski and tourist center in the Arctic Circle. There is also a fire pit in the yard area.

Kemijärvi has good fishing and swimming opportunities, distance 5 km. Fishing permits can be bought at the Joutsijärvi village store, which is also the nearest store, distance 15 km. Joutsijärvi also has the closest attraction - the Salpalinja bunker. Suomutunturi has 70 km of slopes, 17 km of which are illuminated, with a distance of 500 m. The distance from the cottage to the slopes and Hotel Suomutunturi is 500m. Five skiing centers within a radius of less than 100 km. Two national parks within driving distance: Pyhä-Luosto (80 km) and Salla (60 km).
