A traditional log cabin on the shore of the clear-water, fish-rich lake Pyhäjärvi in the middle of nature reserves.The only neighbor is 150 m away which is visible only from the shore. Scenic and peaceful southern shore, pier and boat. The shore is quite shallow, partly rocky and partly sandy. It is easy to go swimming from the pier. Loons, swans and ospreys nest in the water area. 75 km south of Joensuu, separate log cottage, built 1988, in 2025 roof renovation and exterior painting. In the cottage, a living room-kitchen with 2 sleeping sofas, and a 120 cm bed in the sleeping alcove. Sauna, changing room and indoor toilet in the same building, access through the outdoor veranda. The water pipe comes from the lake. Drinking water is purified by reverse osmosis, and there is a separate tap for it in the kitchen. A spare fireplace and air heat pump in the cabin. An old nostalgic log sleeping shed with 120 cm bed and a sleeping shed completed in 2014 with a 160 cm double bed. In the courtyard, there is a fire place, smoking box and a swing. Garden furniture on the veranda. Possibility to rent two inflatable kayaks from the owner.

The holiday resort Pajarinhovi and Zoo are 6 km from the cottage. Lunch restaurant Koivikon Kievari, farm shop and bakery 3,5 km. The nearest restaurant Myllyravintola Wanha Puhos in very beautiful Puhos, about 1,5 km away. Savonlinna 70 km. Bookings start at 16:00 and end at 12:00 on the day of departure.

  Kaikki OK, mitä kohde-esittelyssä mainittu. Hyviä merkittyjä luontoretkeily maastoja läheisyydessä. Itse kävin maastopyöräilemässä siihen sopivilla poluilla arv. 4/5. Porakaivovesi lisätty tupakeittiön hanan viereen, jonka kerrottiin olevan juomakelpoista.

  Erinomainen mökki luonnon ihailijalle. Harvan mökin laiturilta on näin luonnonmukainen maisema eli ei yhtään toista mökkiä näkyvissä. Keittiötiloista kaipailtiin ruokatarvikkeille säilytystilaa ja pöytätilaa. Lyhyt etäisyys valtavan kauniille Puhokselle tai suloisen hellyttävään Kiteen paikallismuseoon, jossa kivikirves ja kuparitaaleri lepäävät vierekkäin.
