The cabin is approximately 13 km from Kittilä and about 30 km from both Levi and Ylläs. Suvantovirta is located on the fish-rich shores of the Ounasjoki River, where the most common catches are grayling and trout. Check the necessary fishing permits and sales locations at www.ounasjoki.fi.

In winter, the nearest maintained ski trail is about 3 km away in Särestöniemi. From there, you can access trails leading to both Ylläs and Levi. If snow conditions permit, a connecting trail from Suvantovirta to Särestö is made starting from week 8. Snowmobile routes are directly accessible from the cabin yard. The snowmobile trail is 1 km via road (50 m to the river ice, where snowmobiling is also possible).

Next to the cabin is a fishing hut that is used occasionally ("once a summer" or less frequently), and the nearest actual neighbor is about 500 m away. There is a shooting range nearby (approximately 1.5 km as the crow flies).

Prices include final cleaning. Bed linens are available for rent. Pets are allowed, with an additional fee for pets.

Bookings start at 4 PM and end at 12 PM on the departure day (including weekend bookings).
