Yllästar II is an apart hotel built in 2007, located near the center of Äkäslompolo. This 44 m² apartment on the second floor features an open-plan kitchen and living area, one bedroom, and bathroom facilities on the ground floor. The bedroom has two 80 cm wide beds and ample closet space. The bathroom includes a shower, WC, and an electric sauna. The kitchen has hot plates and a separate small table oven. The upper floor loft serves as a second bedroom with one 80 cm wide bed and a bunk bed, the lower bunk being 120 cm wide. On the ground floor of the Yllästar 2 building, there is a laundry room (with a washing machine and dryer), a ski maintenance room, and a storage room for bicycles. Charging an electric car at the heating pole is possible for an additional fee.

The apartment is ideally located near services in Äkäslompolo. You can easily manage without a car, as several restaurants and shops are within a couple of kilometers. Summer and winter trails pass right by the apartment building, and a ski bus provides easy access to the slopes. Pets are welcome for an additional fee. The pet fee is charged per booking (max. 2 pets).

From February till April during weeks 8-16 the destination will be available to you from 18.00 on the day of your arrival and until 10.00 on the day of your departure. Please, notice it when planning your travel schedules (during the high season it’s not possible to have earlier check-in or later check-out). In case you would like to check-in earlier or check-out later due to for example timetables of public traffic, please contact the customer service and check if it would be possible to book also previous/following night.

  Sijainti oli loistava. Autoa ei tarvinnut käyttää koko viikon aikana. Ikkunoista oli mukava katsella muita hiihtäjiä. Kohteessa oli kaikki mitä tarvittiin. Rauhallinen ja kodikas asunto.
