200 meters to the illuminated ski track, snowmobile routes, and fitness trail. Berry picking, mushroom foraging, hunting grounds, and fishing spots are within walking distance from the cabin, including a fishing path.

Several swimming spots within a 3 km radius: Rakennusjärvi, Kalastuspuisto beach, Tassulampi. Several lean-tos and huts are in the surrounding area along well-marked hiking trails, such as the Ilveksenkierros, which also leads to the Paljakka Nature Reserve, Mustarinta nature trail, and Paljakanvaara observation tower.
