Holiday home details

Log cabin built 1996 located in lake Syväjärvi recreational fishing area. There are 1 bedroom with 2 bunk beds, livingroom with convertible bunk, kitchenette, shower and toilet in the cabin.

There are four similar cabins and also some caravan places in the area and they all share an electric sauna with separate room and fireplace. Distance to shared sauna ab. 200 m from cabins. The turns for the use of the sauna have to be settled with the cabin neighbours (list for that is found at the sauna). 1h/day sauna is included in the rent. Barbecue hut in shared use. Shore is fairly good, rowing boat.

The cottage is pre-heated for +15 ºC, on arrival the guest turns more heating.

Please note that during "Angling day", fishing event for children and young people, there is an annual ban on fishing in the area, eg on 8.6.2024 (more information: eraluvat.fi/en/backpack/outdoor-learning/angling-day).

The cabin is not for rent in winter time.

Additional information

WILDERNESS CABIN: Facilities in wilderness cabins are often more modest than in holiday cottages. Cabin should be cleaned by the customer during the holiday and after that. Due to long distances maintenance doesn’t check the cabin after all customers. If the cabin is not cleaned or there are deficiencies, please contact the caretaker immediately on arrival by calling. Please, remember to bring your own bed linen and towels (can not be rented).

Cabin can be reached by car. Reservation starts at 14.00.
