80 km north of Lahti, island Selkäsaari, lake Päijänne 15 m, shallow gently sloping sandy beach, 2 piers (on the second dock there is a buoy mooring possibility), own rowing boat and two windsurfers. Stairs from the cottage to the beach. To get to the island and back on departure day you should order a motor boat ride for additional fee. Log cottage 1985, kitchen-living room, sleeping alcove double bed, sleeping alcove bunk bed, sleeping alcove 1 bed, hall, terrace. There's no water main or well on the island. Lakeshore sauna right by the beach line. There is living room and a terrace. In the living room there is sofa bed. Sofa bed is alternative bed and the maximum amount of persons in this cottage is 5. There is roofed outdoor grill / summer kitchen with charcoal grill, garden furniture. On the beach there is sunbathing terrace.

Only cottage on an island. A boat trip to the island approx. 1 km. At closest mainland is 500 m away. Please, notice that motor boat ride to the island on arrival day and from the island on departure day must be ordered separately (the rowing boat of the cottage can be used during the holiday). Price during 50 €/ride. The ride needs to be booked in advance from the driver (contact details will be informed in the driving instructions). Sauna ja sen terassi sekä uimapaikka ovat aivan maailmanluokkaa !!

Mökki sijaitsi upealla paikalla lyhyen venematkan päässä kuhmoisten satamasta. Ilta-aurinko saunan terassilla oli mahtava kokemus. Kesäkeittiö ja muut tilat olivat oikein siistit ja hyvät, ja mökiltä löytyi monenlaisia pelejä ja ajanvietettä. Varmasti vuokrataan toistekkin.

Selkäsaari on kaunis paikka mukavalla mökillä, kivalla ulkokeittiöllä ja mainiolla rantasaunalla varustettu. Mainiota oli myös se, että saareen sai ottaa koirat mukaan. Todella ihana paikka.
