80 km north of Lahti, on the island of Selkäsaari in Lake Päijänne, 15 m from the cabin and 5 m from the lakeside sauna. The shore is shallow and firm with a sandy bottom that deepens gradually. There are 2 jetties at the cabin's shore (the main jetty allows for buoy mooring), plus a rowing boat and two sailboards for guests' use. The shore is reached via steps down from the rocks. Boat transport to the island is available for an additional fee (guests may also arrive by their own boat).

The log cabin was built in 1985 and has a combined kitchen/living room, a sleeping alcove with a double bed, a sleeping alcove with bunk beds, a sleeping alcove with 1 bed, an entryway and a terrace. The fridge has a freezer compartment. There is no running water or well on the island. Guests should bring their own drinking water; water for household use can be taken from the lake.

The lakeside sauna is right at the water's edge, with a sauna room and a terrace. The sauna room has a sofa bed. This sofa bed is an alternative sleeping option, though the cabin's maximum occupancy remains five people.

The yard has a covered grill shelter/summer kitchen with a charcoal grill, a garden furniture set, and a sunbathing terrace by the shore. Guests also have access to table tennis and mölkky for entertainment during their stay.
