There are excellent fishing and hiking opportunities in the surrounding area. Natural site.
The river beach is in a natural state and is not suitable for swimming.

47 km to the north from Kuusamo, Ruka 20 km, Käylä village 3.5 km, river Kitkajoki 30 m. Semi-detached log apartment, built in 2022. Rowing boat and life jackets in shared use with the neighbor: for KitkanVee 2 -guests boat is available on Mon, Wed and Fri.
