This cabin is the perfect choice for families and groups of friends seeking relaxation in nature. It is only 10 kilometers from Kuusamo and 18 kilometers from the Ruka ski resort. A sandy beach (the shore slopes steeply, shared use) awaits you just 50 meters away, making water activities and sunbathing easily accessible.
The cabin was built in 1990. There are three bedrooms: the first has a double bed, the second has two single beds, and the third has a bunk bed with an expandable lower section. Additionally, the low loft (with steep stairs) has four mattresses. The living area and combined kitchen invite you to relax, and the electric sauna is a perfect way to end the day. Please note that the other side of the semi-detached house is used by the owner, but a connecting door ensures privacy.
Guests have particularly praised the cabin's peaceful location and beautiful scenery. Many have mentioned how easy it is to embark on hikes to the nearby stunning natural attractions, and a spa is just five kilometers away. This is a place where you can forget the hustle and bustle of everyday life and fully enjoy your holiday!
Log-built semi-detached house situated on the southern shore of Lake Oivankijärvi. Beach is sandy and deepens quite quickly. That's why it's not suitable for small children.
Additional equipment: Child safety gate upstairs. Baby cot is without blanket and bed linen. Iron and ironing board.
Additional information: Mäntylä is located beside cottage Harjula (9202). Grill hut by the lake (not in winter use). Beach and grill hut is in shared use of cottages Mäntylä and Harjula. Sauna by the lake is in private use.
Distance to the official skiing track is 4 km. There might be also a skiing track about 200 m from the cottage.
