A cozy and atmospheric log cabin in a peaceful area near Ruka, ideal for families and couples who appreciate comfort and peace while enjoying the convenience of being close to Ruka’s ski slopes and Kuusamo’s outdoor paradise. Only 9 km to Ruka Village (West Ruka) and 20 km to Kuusamo town center, this cabin is the perfect base for year-round outdoor activities. Step straight into nature from your own yard and enjoy the shared lakeshore at Lake Ihtinki just 200 m away (clear water, gently sloping sandy bottom, and a campfire spot).

Log cottage 79 m² built in 2010, has sleeping spaces for 7 persons. There are 2 bed rooms downstairs, one with a180 cm double bed and the other with 2 x 80 cm beds. There are 3 x 80 cm beds on the open loft. The living room-kitchen has a dining table for 4 persons. Living room has large windows and a fireplace. There is free WiFi (5G) and Smart TV. The electrically heated sauna has good steam baths. There are also a washroom, utility room and separate toilet.

The cabin has two terraces faciing south and a charcoal grill available in summer. There are also a carport and lockable woodshed.

Use of the outdoor/barrel sauna located in the courtyard is included in the accommodation price. The outdoor sauna is available year-round, but in winter the customer must clear the snow/make a path to the sauna (approximately 10 m). The coutdoor sauna is only for steaming, washing takes place in the main cottage's washroom. The outdoor sauna does not have electricity or running water.

The cottage has a hot tub, which can be rented directly from the cottage owner by separate agreement and by committing to follow the instructions given by the owner and found in the cottage folder.
The hot tub is only available from spring to autumn (May-September), not in winter. The customer fills and heats the hot tub themselves (wood heating, duration approx. 3-5 hours). The price includes cleaning the hot tub after use, but the customer empties the water. Price: €150/day, additional day €50, whole week €350 (payment directly to the owner).
