Accommodation information
155 km north-east of Seinäjoki, L.Lestijärvi 40 m (length 146 km, width 7.5 km), shallow, hard sand bottom, own boat. Log construction, 2-storey holiday home 2008. Downstairs living room/kitchen, bedroom double bed, bedroom 2 beds, hall, sauna with electric stove, washroom, dressing room, 2 terraces and porch. Upstairs (18 m²) 4 beds and lounge area. Living room/kitchen has high ceiling. House has geothermal heating system, plus underfloor heating on lower floor. The lake has a good stock of fish which can be caught with nets and lures. If you have a pet with you, please add pet fee into your reservation (a fee covers several pets). At river Lestijoki, 1 km from the cabin, it is also possible to catch rainbow trout. The surrounding areas of the cabin are good berry and mushroom picking grounds. The cabin is suitable for e.g. family gatherings. By renting the neighbouring cabin Kaisla, there is space for a total of 14 people. Maintanance building in shared use with the neighbouring cabin. High standard spacious holiday home on level, grassy plot. Yard has outbuilding for storage, etc, which is shared with owner's other cottage (the clothes drying cupboard mentioned among the equipment is located there). Lake lies towards west, sun shines on plot all day round. Rod and lure fishing river location and concrete boat slipway 1 km. Small game hunting possible in area managed by Metsähallitus (licences required). Owner rents out snowmobile, snowshoes and bicycles. Lestijärvi's 9-hole/par-36 ice golf course in use at weekends 8 km away. Snowmobile trail 300 m, Nivalan Golf 60 km, Louetkallio downhill ski centre 50 km, illuminated ski trails 9 km, Urjanlinna dance hall 20 km. The cabin can be reached by car during summer and winter.
