25 km to the west from Joensuu, lake Riihilampi 25 m (2,877 km²), shallow, child-friendly sand beach, pier. Stairs to the beach. There is a water connection from the lake Riihilampi to the lake Pyhäselkä under the bridge. Log-built cabin, built in 1975, renovated in 2014-2018 from the outside and 2018-2020 from the inside. Living room/kitchen with sofa bed, sleeping alcove (curtain) with double bed 140 cm, sleeping alcove (curtain) with bunk bed for children (mattress length 180 cm, thickness suitable for children). Wood-heated sauna, terrace. The cabin is suitable for max. 4 adults + 2 children. Children's equipment with high chair and baby cot can be booked in advance.

Water supply only in the sauna. The water can be heated in the water container in connection with the stove. There is a movable and rechargeable shower in the sauna. On the outer wall of the cabin, there is a water supply for washing dishes. There are a sink and drain in the kitchen, but not water supply. Guest have access to 2 hammocks, a trampoline with safety net, 4 bicycles (2 for adults and 2 for children), outdoor games, football goal, toys, books and board games and, if needed, an Xbox game console. The radio can be connected to a mobile phone and used as a speaker. The TV is missing from the pictures. You can inquire in advance about the possibility of renting SUP boards from the owner. Good terrains for picking berries next to the cabin. The distance to the public swimming beach in Liperi is 3.5 km by bike and 4.9 km by car. Heiskala Hoppala riding stable 2 km, Liperi dance hall 2.5 km, Ollilan tupa (home museum, café) 13 km. 17 km to Pärnävaara outdoor center. There are tens of kilometers of hiking and cycling routes and downhill cycling trails. 3,4 km to disc golf course in Liperi. Within 25 km in Joensuu, there are also activities like par3 golf course and bowling and badel halls. Reservations start at 16.00 and end at 12.00 (also weekend reservations). Please note, that in the end of July - beginning of August there might be blue-grean algae in the water.

  Mökki oli kuvauksen mukainen ja hyvin varusteltu. Vietimme erittäin onnistuneen loman nauttien mökin saunasta, rannasta ja mukavuuksista. Kiva että oli monenlaista tekemistä pihapeleistä pyöräilyyn.

  Mökki on siisti ja maisemat kauniit. Ranta olisi varmasti lapsiystävällinen, mutta suunnitelmamme saunoa ja uida ei toteutunut koska rannassa oli runsaasti sinilevää. Sen vuoksi jouduimme muuttamaan lomasuunnitelmamme ja lähdimme pois. Mökissä ja laiturille on paljon portaita, minkä vuoksi paikka oli hankala liikuntaesteiselle...See more

  Mökki oli hurmaava ja ylitti kaikki odotuksemme. Putipuhdas, kauniisti sisustettu ja kaikki tarpeellinen (ja enemmänkin) onnistuneeseen mökkilomaan oli saatavilla. Erityisesti nautimme mökin suurista ikkunoista avautuvasta kauniista maisemasta. Lisäksi vistintä mökin omistajan kanssa oli helppoa ja siitä tuli todella tervetullut olo. Täällä haluaisimme majoittua uudelleenkin!
