A fully equipped log cabin on the shores of Lake Pyhäselkä, part of the Saimaa region.

The log cabin Hirsihuvila Aalto is situated in a peaceful location on the shores of Lake Pyhäselkä in the Saimaa region, in Roukalahti, Liperi, 30 km from Joensuu. From its private shoreline, the views offer the best of Finnish lake scenery, and the cottage is fully equipped.

The cottage has two separate bedrooms. The downstairs bedroom has a double bed, and the upstairs bedroom has three beds. There is an extra bed on the sofa in the living room. Hirsihuvila Aalto was built in 2005 and features a toilet, shower, utility room with a drying cabinet, a wood-fired sauna, an air source heat pump, and a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and dishwasher. The beach is child-friendly, shallow, and sandy, own rowing boat during the summer season. The yard also features a barbecue shelter with a gas grill. Pets are allowed.

Here you can enjoy the best of Finnish nature’s tranquility in the peace of the countryside while relaxing on your own beach. The cottage is part of the Tyyni Resort complex, and the area offers guests access to a nature trail, a shared traditional Finnish grill hut (100 m from the cabin), and a general, shallow, child-friendly sandy beach 150 meters away. In the winter, cross-country ski trails are groomed as needed, snow conditions permitting.

Lake Pyhäselkä is a great place for fishing, and the nearby Saariston Puoti is known for its excellent pizzas (15 minutes by car, 15 km).

The owner’s guesthouse is located 150 meters away, and access to the Aalto Log Cabin is through the property.
