Accommodation information
85 km northeast of Tampere, cottage on a dry land, no beach, no boat. Swimming possibility in public beach 1 km away. Log cottage, built 1985, living room with double bed and extra bed, kitchen, hall, glazed porch, utility room / dressing room, washroom, electric sauna, toilet. Upstairs two bedrooms, one with double bed (120 cm wide), another with two beds, extra bed in the lobby, toilet. The villa has a district heating with wood chips, mechanical ventilation and underfloor heating in the shower room. In 2020-21 has been renovated: outdoor furniture, kitchen furnitures like oven and microwave, outdoor terrace / stairs and hot water tank. Children's equipment: gates on stairs, high chair, bathtub, potty, children's cutlery.

The cottage is located in a beautiful, peaceful countryside setting, near the art city of Mänttä. The yard is surrounded by a fence and maintained fields. Grassy plot with plants, shrubs, fruit trees, garden furniture, gas grill and a children's playhouse. Only 1 pet without extra fee, for 2 pets extra fee is 60€. Vilppulakoski's tourist area about 1 km away. There is a public beach, children's traffic park and a playground, disc golf, lure fishing rapids, a beach restaurant in the summer. In the Vilppulakoski's fishery and park area there are trails and fishing piers. The rapids are stocked annually with rainbow trout, brown trout and grayling. Fishing licenses can be bought from the beach restaurant. In Mänttä (7 km away) there is Serlachius Museum Gösta, Serlachius Museum Gustav. In Art Center Honkahovi there are art exhibitions and concerts. Helvetinjärvi National Park 35 km, Himos Services 58 km, Mänttä center 7 km, riding school 2 km, Tampere and Jyväskylä airports 110 km. Siisti ja tilava mökki. Lähellä paljon mielenkiintoista nähtävää.

Pihapiiri oli loistava, suojaisa mutta kuitenkin avara. Lasten kanssa hyvä piha. Kaikki tarvittava löytyi mökistä lukuunottamatta lasten sänkyä tai häkkisänky. Rauhallinen ja kotoisa maalaismaisema.
