Welcome to Mintun Mökki on the shore of Lake Äkäsjärvi!
Mintun mökki is located in Tunturi-Lappi, 205 km northwest of Rovaniemi and 21 km southeast of the center of Muonio. The cottage is a spacious semi-detached log apartment with on three floors, built in 1996. Downstairs there is a sauna, a washroom, a toilet and a living room with an alcove for two beds. You can also go directly outside to cool off from the ground floor. On the middle floor there is a kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm), a glazed terrace and a toilet. The loft has 2 frame mattress beds and 2 mattresses. Both the stairs to the loft and downstairs are steep and have safety gates at the top.
The beautiful Äkäsjärvi opens in front of the cottage, with a rocky shallow shore, a hard gravel bottom and a jetty. The beach is shared with two other cottages, as well as the hut and the shed next to the cottage, where you can enjoy the glow of the fire.
Here you can recover from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy Lapland's wonderful nature, because there is no internet in the house, but the mobile connection is excellent.
The apartment has a Smart TV (customers must have their own internet connection to watch streaming services).
A parking space with an electric plug can be found at the end of the house.
The cabin is intended for a maximum of 6 people and clean pets are of course welcome.
The location of the cottage is ideal for outdoor activities, camping and fishing, as the Ylläs-Pallastunturi National Park starts on the other side of the lake, offering versatile hobby opportunities. There are several fells, ski centers and ski tracks and snowmobile trails within a short drive, and the marked hiking and trail networks of the Ylläs-Pallastunturi National Park run nearby, which offer excellent outdoor activities.

The cabin is available from 16:00 on the day of arrival and until 11:00 on the day of departure.
Final cleaning is included in the price. The customer must bring his own bed linen and towels, but if necessary, they can also be ordered at the time of booking for an additional fee.
