13 km to the south from Nurmes, lake Pielinen 30 m (871,2 km², length 100 km, width 20 km), child-friendly dredged and sanded beach, pier, own boat, deeper point in the end of the pier. Log building 1999, living room with sofa, kitchenette, sleeping alcove with a double bed separated by a curtain, loft with 2 beds and 120 cm wide bed, washroom. There is also a separate lakeside sauna with wood-burning sauna stove, water pipe, and cauldron for heating up water. Hot tub for 10 persons available on 1.5.- 31.10. Price 120 e/1-3 nights, 180 e/4-7 nights, extra days 30 e/day. Note: reservation must be made according to the days of the holiday. Reservation and payment to the owner.

Nice complex of a log cabin and lakeside sauna by the lake Pielinen. Sunny plot. If the water level in lake Pielinen is low, boating may be sometimes difficult (in late autumn). There is a dredged 10 m x 15 m swimming area in the lake, so swimming is possible when the water level is low. The cabin is equipped with air source heat pump, cooling functionality is also available. Child safety gate at the top of the stairs. National road 6 is located on the other side of the bay, traffic sounds can be heard. Water from water pipe is fully potable. Electric outboard motor available for rent at an additional cost. PS4, smoker box. Bomba 13 km, Koli 65 km. Reservation starts at 16.00 and ends at 12.00 (also weekend reservations).

Mökki aivan ihanalla paikalla. Ja omassa rauhassaan, suojassa, vaikka muita mökkejä lähellä. Mökki kaikin puolin toimiva ja siisti. Rantasauna ihana. Pihapiiri toimiva ja hyvin hoidettu.

Itse mökki oli oikein kiva, samoin sauna ja piha-alue. Mikä pudotti sitten pinnoja, oli se, että liikenteen äänet kuuluivat liikaa läheiseltä valtatieltä. Lokitkin olivat aika äänekkäitä. Ranta oli pettymys, siinä oli ruopattu vain pieni alue, joten uiminen oli aika eriskummallista, kun vesi oli niin matalalla, ettei uimisesta tullut oikein mitään.
