Booking Fee 22 €A round log cabin with a loft, built in 1991 and renovated in 2007, located approximately 14 km from Nurmes on the shores of the Kuohattijoki River. The lakeshore is about 40 meters away, featuring a firm sandy/silt bottom, a pier, and a campfire site. A canoe with equipment is available for use.
On the ground floor (28 m²), there is a combined kitchen/living room with a sofa bed, a bathroom/WC, and a sauna with an electric stove. The loft (12 m²) has a mattress for two and an additional mattress for one.
The yard also includes a wood-heated outdoor sauna. Additionally, there is a summer-use cabin with electricity and electric heating, offering a double bed as an alternative sleeping option.
Bed linen and final cleaning can be booked from the owner.
You can buy a lure fishing license for river Kuohattijoki from the sports equipment shop Konesola Nurmes (Kirkkotie 16 A, Nurmes, tel. +358 13 480 180).
Owner rents out a boat and an electric outboard motor, boat is situated by the Lake Lautiainen in 13 km from the cabin. There is water connection from Lake Lautiainen to Lake Pielinen.
Cabin can be reached by car during summer and winter time.
