This handsome log villa is set on the riverside in Kiiminki, equally suited to family holidays and larger celebrations. It is located 25 km northeast of Oulu city centre and 4.5 km southeast of Kiiminki centre, so town services are conveniently close by – the nearest shop is 3.8 km away, and a restaurant can be found along the same route.

Built in 2007, the 100 m² villa has two floors and plenty of space throughout. Downstairs there is a spacious living room with a fireplace, a combined kitchen/living room, and a dining table for 14 – enough room for the whole group to sit down and eat together. The ground floor also has a separate meeting room, its own toilet, and a sauna section with a dressing room and washroom. The electric sauna has a window with a view straight out over the river landscape.

Upstairs there is a loft hallway, a separate toilet, and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has two 100 cm wide beds plus a bunk bed with a 90 cm wide upper bed. There is additional sleeping space available if needed: the meeting room has a 140 cm wide sofa bed and an 80 cm wide folding extra bed stored in a cupboard, the living room has its own 140 cm wide sofa bed, and the loft has an 80 cm wide folding mattress. In total there are 4 beds and 6 extra beds, so the villa can easily accommodate a larger group.

A terrace runs around three sides of the house, and the wide, covered terrace at the back has long tables and seating for around twenty people – making it an easy choice for hosting celebrations. The same terrace also has a hot tub, available to book for an additional fee. The yard offers space for outdoor games, and down by the shore there is a fire pit as well as a scenic stage with seating built around an old pine tree.

The lakeshore is less than 20 metres from the terrace that runs the full width of the house – the shore is rocky with some current, so care should be taken when swimming.

The hot tub can be booked for an extra fee; guests heat it themselves (heating time 4–6 hours).

This villa is an excellent choice for a larger family celebration, a group meeting, or a shared holiday for several families, with both indoor and outdoor spaces designed for spending time together.
