The house does not have its own beach, but walking across the Green along the path to the beach is approx. 60 meters. Oulu Lake has a sandy bottom and gently deepening shallow water. The Paltamo golf course runs right behind the cottage. Golf course office and restaurant 1.6km (open in summer). Paltamo has all the necessary services. The nearest skiing center in Vuokatti approx. 45 km. 39 km to Kajaani. 148 km to Oulu.
