Charming hand-carved log cabin from 1991, approximately 80 m², located in the serene natural surroundings of Pyhätunturi, yet close to amenities. The Pyhätunturi ski slopes and lifts are only about 7.5 kilometers away, providing a perfect blend of tranquility and the diverse services of Pyhä.
The heart of the cabin is the cozy combined kitchen/living room on the ground floor, ideal for relaxing after a day out by the impressive soapstone fireplace. A separate, atmospheric dining area offers a pleasant setting for shared meals and leisurely moments with family or friends.
The ground floor includes one bedroom with a double bed. Upstairs, there is a bedroom with two single high frame beds. The loft contains two additional single frame beds. From the upstairs balcony, you can admire the surrounding nature and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of Lapland. A small terrace at the back of the cabin invites you to sit and enjoy the fresh air. The cabin also features an electric sauna, a shower, and a separate toilet.
The cabin has been extensively renovated and maintained in recent years, providing clean and comfortable settings for your holiday. Heating is provided by electric radiators, an air source heat pump, and a partially heat-retaining fireplace, perfect for warming up after a winter day outdoors.
The woodshed in the backyard offers convenient storage for firewood and outdoor equipment.
Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and immerse yourself in the silence of Lapland's nature—enjoy the warmth of the fireplace, the fresh outdoor air, and leisurely holiday days.
This log villa is perfect for those who appreciate the tranquility of nature, a traditional cabin atmosphere, and a great location. Situated at the end of the road, it offers a peaceful environment while still providing easy access to the services and activities of Pyhätunturi.
The Pyhätunturi area offers plenty to do year-round. In winter, the nearby ski trails and a connecting trail starting just 100 meters from the cabin invite you to ski directly into nature. The ski resort is a short 7.5 km drive away.
During the summer season, the area provides excellent opportunities for hiking, exploring nature, and enjoying the landscapes of Lapland. After a day of excursions, it’s wonderful to return to the peace of your own cabin.
Pyhä-Luosto National Park is, of course, a top destination. For example: Aittakuru, a 2.5 km route, is an easy way to see the impressive gorge. The Karhunjuomalampi route, about 10 km, includes Isokuru, Pyhänkasteenputous waterfall, and Uhriharju on the same loop. The Tunturiaapa nature trail, 7.8 km, offers beautiful marsh and fell scenery, especially during the autumn colors. If you prefer a more relaxed outing, Restaurant Tsokka at the top of Kultakero is a great endpoint for your trip.
Natural conditions (e.g. water levels) may vary and affect, for example, the accuracy of the shoreline description. Lomarengas is not responsible for such changes or their impact on the use of the property. Further information in the booking terms.
