60 km north of Mikkeli, nearest town Pieksämäki (28 km). Lake Maavesi 20 m, opposite shore 40 m (connects with the main lake), deep natural state water. Own boat. Wooden cabin 1997, living room/kitchen with convertible sofa, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with bunk bed + bed (width 120 cm), rented for maximum 6 persons, sauna, washing room, dressing room with access to foyer and large open veranda.

Cottage situated on the Majavareitti Canoe Route. Canoe for rent 70 e/week, possibility to rent also for a shorter period (ask the owner for an offer). Good stock of fish in the lake, e.g. pike, bream, perch, zander and roach. Good berry and mushroom picking areas around the cottage. The available accommodation and lounge areas are on the ground floor of the building. The view balcony on the upper floor is available to customers, but the rest of the upper floor is not. Air source heat pump shown in a photo is not in use. It is not allowed to bring a hot tub or hydro massage bath outdoors. Pieksämäki 27 km, Joroinen 36 km, Juva 40 km, Varkaus 54 km, Mikkeli 60 km, Jyväskylä 111 km, Kuopio 121 km. Gas station (Seo Virtasalmi) 2 km, in Virtasalmi about 4 km away for example a grocery shop, pharmacy, Kafe Villa, museum (open June-August). Mökki on hyvin varusteltu, omassa rauhassa sijaitseva paikka. Paikat ovat siistit ja huolellisesti hoidetut. Järvestä saa kalaakin ihan mukavasti. Ympäristö on koiraystävällinen ja rauhaisa. Luonnonrauhaa löytyy. Isäntäväki on todella ystävällinen ja avulias.

Seitsemäs kesäviikko Majavanpesässä meidän perheelle. Kaikki sujui kuten ennenkin: ihana, rauhallinen paikka ja kaikki tarvittava löytyy. Ystävällinen isäntäperhe vielä bonuksena päälle. Sauna ja uimapaikka mitä mahtavin. Epäilemättä kalastajalle myös hieno paikka. Onnistuu pitempikin lomareissu, kun mökistä mukavuutena myös pyykkikone. Seuraavana kesänä taas tänne.
