Mökki oli kiva ja rauhallisessa ympäristössä. Retkihiihtäjille löytyi mukavasti tutkittavaa ympäristössä. Vaikka talvi piti vielä hyvin otteessaan korkeine hankineen ja napakoine yöpakkasineen, mökki oli saunoineen ja muine varusteineen erämökkeihin enemmän tutustuneena ihan parhaasta päästä.
