65 km southwest of Savonlinna. Lake Saimaa 35 m, deep water, hard rock/sandy bottom. Shore is rocky. Pier and rowing boat. A shared beach (with two other cottages) suitable for children 250 m. Log cabin 1998, living room/kitchen, bedroom with double bed (140 cm), sauna (electric sauna stove), washroom (sauna and washroom renovated 2014), toilet, veranda. Upstairs: bedroom with double bed, sleeping loft there is possibility to make two extra beds to the sofa, balcony. Obligatory cleaning deposit 150 € payable on arrival.

Homely, comfortable log cottage on forest-covered steep slope. Swimming shore has current (running water): this water (Kietävälänvirta) does not freeze over in winter. Cottage is situated high on a rocky outcrop. Steep slope from cottage to the shore with steep stairs. Owner rents out e.g. baby’s cot, baby feeding chair, 5 bicycles, life jackets, two marine aluminium 10 hp Buster boat. Home-baked confectionary to order. Nature trail starts at cottage which is joined to municipal nature trail network. Several trails of varying length. Additionally, owner has a tepee approx. 3 km away, which is a good destination for a walk. In Puumala there is 60 km long bicycle path Saaristoreitti for cyclists. Saimaa seal watching tours from Puumala. Kietävälä ferry 1 km, Kostioniemi golf 6 km, Kaartilankoski village shop 12 km, Puumala 24 km, Sulkava 25 km, Savonlinna 65 km, Imatra 77 km, Mikkeli 95 km, Helsinki 323 km.

  We enjoyed so much this cottage, in front of the lake. Is all well organised, especially the kitchen. The space is cozy, comfortable and charming. The Lomergas site is so easy and friendly use. Markus, the owner, was really reactive and helpful for any requests

  Kiva, tilava mökki rauhallisella paikalla. Myös parvi on ihan kunnon kokoinen ja korkuinen. Portaat sinne tosin jyrkät. Valoisa piha ja ympärillä aukeaa mahtava järviluonto.   Hieno paikka, upeat näkymät. Varustelu voisi olla hieman parempi ja ranta soveltuu pieneen pulahdukseen. Voisimme kuitenkin mennä uudestaan, palvelu oli ystävällistä ja tehokasta.
