An atmospheric log villa by a pond in Ranua.

The 152 m² villa, built of sturdy logs, is located in a peaceful location in the middle of Lapland's nature in Pohjasperä, Ranua, about 76 km southeast of Rovaniemi. This personal and cozy villa offers a setting for relaxation all year round - far from the hustle and bustle, but still within a reasonable driving distance of services.

The heart of the villa is a spacious living room with slate walls and floors. Underfloor heating and a fireplace create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Large windows open directly onto the peace of nature. The accommodation is suitable for 5–7 people, so the villa is ideal for families or small groups.

The villa is on two floors:

Ground floor: Open living room, kitchen and dining area, bedroom with double bed (width 160 cm), toilet, dressing room and storage, covered terrace, electric sauna and laundry facilities. The electric sauna has an exceptional wall solution that makes the sauna experience particularly soft and pleasant.

Upstairs: Large bedroom with two double beds (the larger one is 180 cm wide and the other 140 cm wide). Reading and work corner, cabinets and filled bookshelves, with an atmospheric, white-bricked chimney as the centerpiece. There is also a sleeping alcove with mattresses (total width 160 cm) on the upper floor. Balcony.

The tap water from the pond is good for washing, but you are asked to bring drinking water with you.

Just 15 meters from the pond shore is a spacious, wood-heated lakeside sauna (23m²), which in addition to the sauna room, has a dressing room/hallway and a fireplace room with an alternative place to stay. The pier offers easy access for refreshing swimming. The beach deepens quickly, and the bottom is initially rocky sand, but deeper into softer mud. With children and those who cannot swim should be especially careful.
