Flat and grassy yard, 30 m from the Alaluosta main road. The cottage has mechanical ventilation and a gas grill on the terrace, and an electric smoker is also available. There is a garden swing and furniture on the patio in the yard, as well as a separate storage building.

A steep grassy slope leads from the cottage terrace to the riverbank. The Luostanjoki River is well suited for canoeing. Good berry and mushroom terrain nearby.

The river is home to perch and pike, and rainbow trout are stocked in the river annually. Worm fishing and net fishing are prohibited in the Luostanjoki River, only lure and fly fishing are allowed, for which permits can be purchased from the local association. You can inquire about fishing permits from the caretaker.
There is also the possibility of hunting small game (bird, hare, beaver) near the cottage.

There are beaches suitable for children 3-4 km away on the shores of both Ala-Luostajärvi and Iso-Valkeinen, and there is also a barbecue shelter and changing rooms on the shore of Iso-Valkeinen.
Rautavaara city center 25 km, Lastukoski rapids fishing spot 25 km and Pisavuori nature reserve, observation tower, nature trail and old Täyssinnä boundary marker 26 km.
