Spacious, high standard chalet in small holiday village area. Nearest neighbour is the restaurant building, 20 m. Chalet is located in a sunny place on top of a ridge. Views down to water course and holiday village area. The cottage is well suited for watching the Northern Lights when they occur. Caravans, camping, mobile homes or hot tub are not allowed on the plot. Connection to motor sledge routes, distance 3 km. Rovaniemi and Ounasvaara 30 km, Arctic Circle and Father Christmas village 40 km, airport 40 km. Obligatory deposit 150 € has to paid in cash on the spot. CHALET CAN BE RENTED FOR LESS THAN ONE WEEK AT ANY TIME OF YEAR EXCEPT FOR THE CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR SEASONS. Weekend reservations valid until 12.00.

Mökki sijaitsee hyvällä paikalla josta kauniit näkymät läheiselle joelle. .Revontulia päästiin ihailemaan yhtenä lltana. Luonnonrauhaa. Mökki lämmin ja siisti. Suosittelemme.

Hello, It was really great to stay in your Sonkajärvi mökki. Nice, clean, warm, good sauna, nice view. I would certainly return if our plans take us to Rovaniemi area in the future :) Only some remarks: Water boiler didn't work properly, just swiched off all the time way too early. Very clean and warm, recently renovated, well (dis-)connected from civilization, but still close enough to infrastructure. Few minor disadvantages: the rooms are missing completely wardrobes/shelves, the bathroom is missing a mirror, the water sink in the toilet is too small and too low, lamp keys are strangely connected, etc.
